Well if you have reached here then you really want to know how it works ? :)
Imagine the thrill of designing your own clothes and bringing your creative ideas to life. That's exactly what happened when I was approached by a friend to try my hand at designing clothes. With curiosity and a desire to understand how clothes are created, I started creating my own pieces with the help of a local tailor. The experience was fantastic, and it led me to design even more pieces, experimenting with patchwork and using black and white fabrics to create unique, stylish looks.
But then I had an idea - what if I could share this experience with women around the world and give them the resources and tools to create their own clothes and build a business from their passion? That's when I met a friend working with slum women, and we started teaching them how to design and make clothes. Once they were ready, these women could sell their creations and earn a living for themselves and their families.
And now, I want to take this idea even further. What if we could prepare 500 women worldwide to design and create clothes, teach them how to take their business online, and give them the resources they need to build a better life for themselves? It's an ambitious goal, but I truly believe it's possible. Join us on this journey, and let's empower women to unleash their creativity and pursue their dreams!
So these steps are for people who are willing to contribute to this project as volunteers.
Start by finding someone who is interested in learning and creating. Reach out to someone you know or meet someone new who may be interested. Building a relationship based on trust is important.
Don't jump straight into the idea of designing and creating. Take the time to get to know her and her interests. Ask her about her thoughts and opinions, and make sure that she is excited and engaged in the process.
Engage with her to understand her preferences and provide her with fabric options to choose from. Guide her on which fabrics are good for creating upcycled clothes.
Instead of putting pressure on her to create something perfect right away, create a relaxed and fun environment where you can experiment and explore. Engage in design trials that will allow both of you to understand how to work together better.
If all parties feel comfortable, document the process through photos, videos, or written descriptions. Obtain permissions before doing anything.
The most important thing is to learn and explore together in a creative session. It's okay to make mistakes, and it's essential to say sorry and move ahead.
Once you have designed and created your product, teach her how to sell it online using platforms like Shopify or other e-commerce applications. We are here to help and guide you along the way.
